Collecting Litter

We put on a glove, took some plastic bags and went out to the playground.  We found a lot of rubbish.  When we came inside we sorted the rubbish.  The paper we put into the paper recycling bin in the classroom, the plastic went into a bag, and Mrs Shaw took it home and will put it out for the recycling truck to collect, the banana peels and the plum went into the worm bucket, the marble and the plastic spoons were washed and we can use them in the classroom.  There was a lot of rubbish that could not be redused, reused or recycled so we are going to make a pretend landfill on the wall.  We are not happy about this because landfills take up a lot of room.
"We need to talk to the big kids about the rubbish in the playground," said Moss.

Our Picnic.

                                                                      Having lunch.

It was hot.  We had to drink lots of water.
Santa arrived on a sledge.  The reindeer were resting so he had to tie the sledge to a four wheeler.
                                                             Santa gave us iceblocks.

Radishes

We went to our garden, picked some radishes and then washed them.
Some of the radishes were big.
Some of us liked the radishes.
Some of us didn't like eating them.
Some of us thought they tasted spicy.
We had to chew the radishes.
Some of us ate the leaves.

Measuring

We had to join the cubes to see who could make the tallest tower.
                                                      George's is the tallest.
Kenus and Ruben are measuring their towers.
                                                         Whose is the tallest?

We then had to see who could make the longest road.
                                                                 We could use rods.
                                                      We could use blocks.
                                                               The roads were long.
                                                The roads had corners.
                                            We could use nursery sticks.
                                                    We used mobilo wheels.
The roads went all over the classroom.
                                                                 More mobilo.
We had to be careful where we walked.

The Nativity

Lots of people came to watch us act out the story of the birth of Jesus.  We also had to learn lots of songs.  We were awsome.  Henga sang Silent Night for us.
